What Is It?
Tyvek® is a lightweight sheet of super-strong non-woven fibers. It is a weatherization membrane that provides a protective layer under a home's siding. It is literally wrapped around a home, cut out around windows and doors and taped at the seams. It's designed as a secondary defense to help keep water and air out, yet is engineered to readily allow moisture vapor to diffuse to the outside.
